Bill Evans is well known for beautiful harmonies and lyrical improvisation, one of the most influential pianists of his time. These final performances of Bill Evans, recorded at Keystone Korner San Francisco in Aug 31 ~ Sep 7th, 1980, just before he died. This “Immortal” has the brand new track listing, including 8 songs which were not compiled in 'Consecration 1', 'Consecration 2', or 'The Brilliant'. The last song, “My Romance”, is his coda, the final live performance of his life.
