Godzilla: Monsters & Protectors - Rise Up! is a middle-grade graphic novel written by Erik Burnham and illustrated by Dan Schoening. The story follows Godzilla as he becomes humanity's judge after a businessman awakens him by using an untested element to create clean energy for profit. To stop Godzilla, three middle-school students, with some magical assistance from Infant Island, must convince him that not all humans are harmful and that there is still hope for the planet.
