DESCRIPTION
This is the seventh studio album, released on July 11, 1988, only five months after the previous album âCATCH THE NITEâ. The original LP is K28A-860. Of the 12 songs on the album, three were composed by Toshinobu Kubota, and many of the songs were written by Toshinobu Kubota's production team, including Ichiro Haneda and Takao Sugiyama, as well as songs composed by KITARO and Koji Nakamura. Singer/songwriter CINDY, with whom KITARO and Koji Nakamura have continued to collaborate on songs since the album's release, also contributed two songs (one of which was co-written with Ichiro Haneda). In addition, Miho Nakayama herself wrote the lyrics to âLong Distance To The Heavenâ the fifth song on SIDE 2, under the name Mizuho Kitayama, and also wrote the lyrics to âInto The Crowdâ the opening song on SIDE 1.
Other lyricists include Masumi Kawamura, known for Toshinobu Kubota's songs, and Rui Serizawa and Chinfa Kang, who have written many of Miho Nakayama's songs. The album also includes âIn The Morningâ, a coupling song to the single âMermaidâ (not included in this album) released at the same time, âI Knowâ, and âMoonlight Sexy Danceâ, which showcase the various scenes and emotions that color âsummerâ. Miho Nakayama, who was only 18 years old at the time, delivers these songs with fresh sensitivity and expressive power.
